About LightINU

Our Mission

We believe students deserve more than academic preparation. They deserve structured guidance in understanding themselves, managing emotions, and making thoughtful decisions.

LightINU exists to bring proactive, skill-based social and emotional development into everyday school environments.

“I wish I could show you when you are lonely or in darkness the astonishing light of your own being.”

~ Hafez

Why S.E.T. for Life Was Created

In both classroom and clinical settings, we saw the same pattern: students were often supported only after challenges surfaced.

We built S.E.T. for Life to shift that model.

Rather than waiting for crisis points, this curriculum develops awareness, regulation, resilience, and decision-making skills before problems escalate.

Meet the Founders

LightINU was founded by a licensed therapist and an experienced educator who saw the same gap from two different perspectives.
